Sean McDermott

Sean McDermott is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Previously, he coached in other clubs Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers. He began his NFL coaching career as an assistant for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001.

In January 2011, the Eagles fired him as the defensive coordinator.

Later, in 2017, the Buffalo Bills hired him as the 22nd head coach. He was nominated for NFL Head Coach of the Year for the 2019 season. On August 12, 2020, he signed a contract extension through 2025.
